Provo King's ode to Kelly Kapowski

from the bayside's-finest dept.
The self-proclaimed King of Provo has made an account here on Provo Pulse. And frankly, I feel honored.

On his site I found a funny mp3 of his song Kapowski inspired by Saved by the Bell's Kelly Kapowski (i.e. Tiffani-Amber Thiessen). It's hilarious.

Welcome to the site KC.

Thank you for the kind words

Hey Mason,

Thank you for the kind words about my song. I'm glad that you enjoyed it. The song has given me much success. The
BYU-Hawaii Newspaper wrote about me and the song.

I also used the song to audition for Divine Comedy and I actually made callbacks. And on the DC message board, two of the five posters mentioned that the Kapowski song was one of their favorites.

Sometimes I play at Muse Music on University Ave. on Tuesday Nights, which is "Open-Mic Night", or whenever a group of college-aged students are really bored I'll grab my left-handed acoustic-electric Fender Guitar and rock the house (or make a lot of noise).

I apologize that the audio recording isn't the greatest, it was taken from a video camera from a live performance at BYU-Hawaii in October 2003. I have a slightly newer version of the song that I now play. I'm in the planning stages of recording "Kapowski" and some other fun songs I've written. If anyone knows of any good deals or has recommendations on studio/recording time, please let me know.
