Fall Fest Feedback (What Alliteration!)

from the formerly-known-as-fall-fling dept.
I was one of the chairs for Fall Fest and I wanted to know what everyone thought. How well was it managed? What activities did you like or dislike? What would you change if you were running the show? How long did you have to wait in line? Did you even go? If you didnt go, why not? Just antisocial?

I have Social Disease. I have to go out every night. If I stay home one night I start spreading rumors to my dogs.

A little too confined

It was a lot smaller this year compared to previous years. I thought having everyone crammed into the Wilk wasn't so great. Also, no ice cream! (Or did I just miss it?)

i was only there for a few mi

i was only there for a few minutes toward the very end, but I noticed that people didn't seem to know what all was going on, and so everybody was going around trying to see everything so they'd know what they wanted to do ... which caused a big traffic jam inside the wilk ... those blue barrier-things were pretty bad bottlenecks ...

having the stage out front with bands playing was a great idea though

Outside Band

I was also only there a short bit, but I felt that the outside band event was huge. Lots of good positive energy, good place to people watch (how about those $50 von Dutch hats that everyone had), and it was cool, unlike inside the WILK were is was sizzling.

Lines not worthy

Around 8:40 I showed up by the clyde building. The line went all the way to the south end of the clyde. I waited 25 minutes and it didnt show any progress in the line so I left. What is so hard about checking an ID? why it took so long?

not worth it...

The lines were HUGE...me and my buddies found a way to sneak in and our efforts were not worth it. Way to crowded, people not allowed at dance, activities weren't that fun...it's been better other years.
